It's supposed to be 2spooky or some shit. Basically it's fucking retarded but some faggot
considers it to be artistic.

but the "story" at the end ruined it for me. should have stopped it earlier

The last bit could have been taken off, but I guess subtlety is overrated

I like this kind of stuff. It's strangely unsettling and creepy. Kinda makes me wonder what would
happen if this shit actually appeared on national television late at night with no explanation.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/28/15(Wed)05:36:16 No.2937602
Having some entity at the end address itself, the viewer, and some pointless backstory really
doesn't add anything.

Usually, these things don't freak me out. I was actually starting to get a bit disturbed, but
then they decided "HEY WERE GONNA INSERT A STORY IN HERE NOW", and then the immersion was ruined.

Im a fan of these.
Gets my creative juices flowing which I really need with what I was working on.
The end is corny though.

>but I guess subtlety is overrated
THIS
EVERY SINGLE fucking creepy thing on the internet fails at subtlety. I have no idea why.
Look at SCP shit, or any halfway decent creepypasta, or whatever. The ideas are fine, the buildup
can even be great, but then the execution is "wooo be sacred now!". The entire fucking point of
horror is to set up a confusing or unusual situation, and then leave the audience to come to
horrific conclusions; yet no-one online seems even vaguely aware of that.
"Weather warning issued: due to the brightness of the event, do not look at the sky until sunrise
tomorrow". is creepy as fucking hell.
"Creeping through the mirror it's not light it's blood im drowning" isn't even mildly concerning.

ikr? Plus, I find the whole concept of supernatural / paranormal shit to be boring as hell
anyway. What initially got me about this flash was that it was incredibly plausible, cause the
maker obviously drew heavily on the pretty frightening real-world serious weather alerts, and the
absolutely terrifying old-school nuclear weapon alerts. The thought of my electronics filling
with static, then a few minutes later announcements telling me not to look outside and especially
not towards bright light sources makes me imagine the start of the nuclear apocalypse, which is
way more realistic and therefore spine tingling. But nope, has to be spoopy monsters coming to
kill us all omg!!

This. I remember the old Candle Cove creepy pasta, and that one was great. I remember when I was
younger and stupid, I thought a couple of those older subtle ones maybe had a chance of being
real. Now they go full retard at the end.
Hell, I thought the idea of the TV being hijacked and showing the actual moon was very original
and frightening, but those couple of lines about "drowning in blood" just completely took me out
of it.
