I wrote up how to get the easter egg (mario episode) last time I saw this posted. Here's what I
wrote on swfchan:
When you kill the second guy, go south before grabbing the rupee and then go north again. A
staircase appears in the lower right, but it's inaccessible.
Go back down to the old man's cave and carefully check the walls for an invisible hole (it's
small). This will take you back up to the surface through the stairs.
Then you can then go east to a new area, where you start the Mario version of the game.
