You can do seamless looping with mp3's in flash if you don't mind dirty tricks. You can just set
the repeat count to INT_MAX and it will loop seamlessly near endlessly.

really? i tried something similar but it never worked.
testing now with the INT_MAX in the repeat value field but it defaults back to 0.
