You know, before your kind arrived here, minus8's works were either met with praise or
indifference. Not to say there weren't any negative comments or anything of the like, but they
were kept to a minimum, and discussion was conducted in a civilized manner. An example of the
limited list of things that was met with general disgust was pony porn, and even then the
philosophy shared here until recently was to at least respect what some people fapped to. If you
weren't interested in fapping to it yourself, you moved on with your life.
And, you know, minus8's flashes were always spammed for at least a month or two straight shortly
after their release, with nobody ever complaining. I used to come back from work, late at night,
and I was almost guaranteed to find something of him posted. Stuff like bonbon.swf or even
r10.swf, which got spammed to hell and back. Yet people didn't bitch about them. Mostly because
if there was something on /f/ that you did not enjoy at any given moment, you'd move onto the
next flash available, or upload your own.
/f/ is a small enough board that, if there's something that you don't like, you can post
something you DO like in hopes that other people can post similar content. This is why we have
several dedicated days of the week were people post exclusive content that share a theme, like
Touhou Tuesday or Thursgay. And still, these are not set in stone, as trends change and people
may end up posting something completely new that may take up it's own day.
Unlike the rest of 4chan, we only get a single page worth of content. There is no need to wade
through 10-15 pages to find something of interest. Everything you see there is what you get. And,
as I said before, if you don't like it, you can change it.
Which leads me into the main topic of this post. What the hell are you people doing in this
board? /f/ is a lighthearted board where people entertain each other. We're supposed to share
amusement, not expect it to just go one way.
