Sooo...yeah, what's up with all this mumbo jumbo?
What I meant to type was a question directed to the attacks on Paris and the general reaction the
world shared. And yet I've chosen to skip out on all the internet rage layered with dismay and
threats. I know what it looks like already, typically the emotions created are negative. Seeing
powerful tragedies and letting it affect me is what I'm trying to avoid. I've seen the gore,
watched the executions, and everything between. I no longer look on in amazement or astonishment,
with a deviant sense of excitement As I grow older I start to resent senseless violence, and all
this fear mongering makes me feel powerless, hiding from the happenings seems what is best. I
think I'm saving what little humility is left for the real world or you may say I'm just being a
pussy, either is pretty close to the truth.
tldr Let me ask you /f/, what are your thoughts? Do you still feel, or can you easily abate the
bullshit and think I need to nut up?

We aren't hopeless. We (western democracies) have just been dealt a grazing blow so to speak. If
an actual war erupts, you can enlist and kill them yourself or if you are too old you can provide
logistical support in your spare time.
Do not worry my friend, the US and like minded western democracies will always prevail simply
because it is profitable to do so. As the saying goes- money makes the world go round. Living
under sharia law and succumbing to the islamic state is not profitable.
