Still disappointed in the artist for the song rehashing bullshit.

Well, they made plenty of other songs for the game and could very easily have made another one.
It probably just seemed too fitting for them to not use.
Also, some songs deserve more than just one use, I'd say; especially for songs that cover a
certain theme really well.
(e.g.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p6XOtofnME (Does extremely well at the "it's okay that
the world is ending" theme.)

Why would you not rehash an amazing and, frankly, appropriate song?
This particular song is the artist's calling card, practically his theme song. It's a style thing
to use it in the ultimate boss fight of his games. I imagine if he makes another he probably
wouldn't use it for fear for overusing it, but it still wouldn't be inappropriate for him to do
so.
Imagine any time you've played a video game in a long-running franchise, and you enter a fight
with a familiar face, and wicked rearrange of their old 8-bit or 16-bit theme starts playing.
Most people lose their fucking minds, like "OH MY GOD THAT SONG" and have a huge nerdgasm. It's
meant to evoke that sort of reaction.
