What does it matter?
The reason - as I understood it - that people are against renaming flashes is because it prevents
confusion: you see a flash's name and you instantly know which one it is.
Both "Heartbeat" and "snorkel twinkie barn" have been used equally as much so there shouldn't be
any confusion about the filename.

other anon was right. All swf's get cataloged at swfchan. If the flash name is changed and you go
to swfchan to look it up you might not find it

They're saved by hash. Both Heartbeat and snorkel twinkle barn are considered the same file by
swfchan.
It's just kinda nice having a consistent filename for posterity, but by this point snorkel
twinkle barn a part of the flash's history too.

You niggers are new. It was renamed "snorkel twinkie barn", because of the constant renames of
the flash. Everyone bitched about it, so some nigger renamed it something stupid and it stuck.
