36k a year (before taxes), not a lot really, you'd do better flipping burgers, if you weren't a
NEET that is.

what if they also flip burgers?

after taxes and fees, that's gonna be less than $2k/month. In the US if you live in decent area,
especially in or near a major city, your rent/food/utilities/car/gas/etc. can easily exceed
$2k/month. so unless you're getting money from other sources, or you live in some shitty
developing country like south america, $3k/month is chump change.
>>2931561
because of how small business taxes work in America, I'd definitely say flipping burgers is more
profitable.

This.
It isn't really all that much in any reasonably decent area in the country.
People always forget the taxes too.
If it was in GBP, then it'd maybe be a bigger difference.
£3k~ a month is actually a fairly decent average pay.
You can live in quite a few areas with that sort of income.
You can forget most city centres and SOME* beach areas though, but that is fairly obvious in
pretty much every developed country.
There are, of course, the hugely obvious exceptions, like Detroit. pfft. It is comically bad.
*some beach areas since there are some beaches that just don't have as much of a price tag for
some reason
There was even a TV show in the UK about people on pretty low welfare incomes living in beach
areas, simply because of the weird layout of the land.
