I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Wew Lad is in fact, Wrinkle
Face, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Property of Official Wrinkle Face Creator(tm). Wew
Lad is not a meme unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning
imageboard made useful by [a/jp], spammers and dubs comprising a full board as defined by Gippo
Dudee.
Many posters post a modified version of Wrinkle Face every day, without realizing it. Through a
peculiar turn of events, the version of Wrinkle Face which is widely saved is often called Wew
Lad and many of its users are not aware that it is basically Wrinkle Face, developed by Official
Wrinkle Face Creator(tm).
There really is a Wew Lad, and these people are posting it, but it is just a part of the meme
they spread. Wew Lad is the text: the funny little symbols that allow written history and stop
signs. The text is an essential part of a meme, but useless by itself - wait that doesn't make
any sense some of the best memes are text only like the "you should just stick with today's
special" one, that one is fuckin' gold. Something something something POSIX.

It's a forced meme no matter how you look at it
