One way you could improve on this is by lowering the number of frames.
Skip every other frame, save quite a bit of space without a HUGELY noticeable impact to the
overall flow.
It will be a little bit choppy, but lets face it, most animation isn't exactly perfectly smooth.
You could probably apply a frame smoothing algo to it to help make things blur together
inter-frame.
