Fuck antidisestablishmentarianists. The world need disestablishment; religion is fucking cancer
to progress and well-being.

Yeah it's the same with government/media/consumerism propaganda and conspiracy theories. All of
that is just as cancerous as religion.
If we had none of those things we would already be using means of space travel.
Rather than be stuck on a planet where we have consumed nearly all the fossil fuels that would
have been required to come up with a better source of energy.
We practically fucked ourselves over because of people's silly beliefs leading to conflict and
the power/money hungry psychopaths of society.

Exactly. And tribalism. Tribalism is the root of all of those.
This is kind of unrelated, but:
The root of tribalism, besides the physical structure of the human brain, is neurotransmitter/horm
one norepinephrine, which causes anger, anxiety, stress, fear, and (in excess) depression and
anxiety disorders. That's why all anxiety and depression medications suppress norepinephrine. I
always wonder what life would be like if we substituted norepinephrine with something else that
didn't cause negative emotions. It wouldn't solve everything, but it would certainly help a lot.

I wonder if not having those sorts of emotions or having complete control over them would make us
more.. Vulcan?

Interesting…
I don't think so. Well, maybe, over a long enough period of time. It might happen taking into
account the trend of increasing intelligence and merging the body and eventually brain with
technology. But I doubt we as a species would ever choose to completely let go of positive
emotions like happiness, love, and euphoria. It just goes against or nature. We'd have no will to
live.
While I've always admired the concept of the Vulcans, I can't help but feel that no such species
could last. It wouldn't enjoy life much more than than by abstract and intellectual means, and it
would have no real incentive to propagate itself.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/03/15(Thu)18:41:14 No.2968214
>>2968210
Yeah that's true. It was always something at the back of my mind nagging me if we got rid of our
beliefs and distinctions so we were all on the same page about moving forward as a species.
It would be nice if we could get rid of the bad without getting rid of the good.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/03/15(Thu)18:49:31 No.2968218
>>2968214
Yeah, I've thought about that too. Assuming nothing disastrous happens and humans survive for a
few more centuries, I think eventually we'll literally begin to merge in intelligence. Like a
positive, worldwide Borg. That idea scares many people, but it inspires me. Especially the idea
of merging ourselves with virtual realities we create, and creating a "real" heaven for ourselves.

Yeah I'd have to agree completely.
I was doing some reading on some of this stuff a little while back and found this old 2010
military intelligence bulletin.
https://fas.org/irp/agency/army/mipb/2010_02.pdf
Too long to read it all but on page 46 there's a little section where they talk about how they
think humanity may advance a certain way. So I guess they have their eye on it for military
purposes but it was interesting nonetheless thinking about it on a larger scale.

I prefer soundcloud because you can hum into it and it'll match. Shazam requires a direct
playback of the original audio. Soundcloud is actually the app version of midomi.

Actually listening through it, Operation Ground and Pound might not be the closest song to The
One Road of Resistance. Can you think of a Dragonforce song that sounds closer?
Then again, all power metal sounds the same.

That baby metal song has some newer styled breakdown beats that dragonforce never really had in
the beginning which is kinda fresh.
Also I hate to say it like some normie who only knows them from guitar hero but the pace and
structure sounds a lot like through the fire and flames.
