as autism infected as the fanbase of invader zim is, i still kinda enjoy the show and what it
did. it really got away with alot of gruesome shit back then, and i hope cartoons might
eventually stop playing the safe approach to its audiences and do something different. case and
point: rick and morty

agreed. Zim was fun and pushed the TV-Y7 rating often. I just love how deranged and neurotic the
entire show is.
It's similar with rick & morty only it has a more mature rating so it can push way further.

I tried watching the show again after all these years and I despise it. Dont know if its the
impression its fanbase has associated it with, but the show is honestly just screaming and loud
noises and "shock" value.
Theres nothing to follow, nothing of interest, just loud noises to keep the little kid quiet.
