I can appreciate the need to make a music video with animation (because who does that these days
and makes it entertaining, which this is), but she's seeking too much of an edge when she doesn't
need that much of an edge. It's basically shock porn. It doesn't intend to be artistic or
relevant in it's message. For this reason, this video, much like her others, can never be more
than a testament to one person's anxiety over sexualism and death. It is a bottled up
angst-trenched waste of anyone's time.
In short, we get it and we don't care. You can animate, so why not make something actually good
instead of plain 'ol shock porn? Yeah sure, have guts, blood, sharp objects, sex and all that,
but do something more with it. Otherwise... you should do something else if you're going to take
up space on this earth.
