Storywise Witcher 1 is great but it lacks everywhere else. Witcher 2 had good combat plus bombs,
daggers and traps which were fun to use but was a lot shorter than Witcher 1. I'm only just
getting into Witcher 3 and so far I'm not too sure how I feel about it yet. I'm not blown away or
anything

2 and 3 are good games. its about the characters and story, not the gameplay. There is better
stuff out there for gameplay

The first Witcher was a practically a rhythm game except with point-and-click targeting with
swords.
At least W2 and especially W3 gave us decent enough combat and mechanics.
You'd still play the trilogy mostly for the good story and character development, though.
