OP here.
The trick to beat Astaroth is to go back to the big town after you beat Cerberus. Talk to the guy
who mentioned the Nova spell. He'll be impressed that you beat Cerberus, and give you the "Death"
spell. It's a spell that has a 7% chance of insta-killing a foe. Spam that on Astaroth until she
dies.

You don't need the hammer to beat the game, but you can get the hammer (and the associated armor)
on the same screen that the entryway to the city is and the screen where Eris' temple is. Go all
the way to the right, you'll find a river. Walk along it as close as you can, you'll eventually
find a spot you can walk over, and you can head north a bit to the temple. You'll need a certain
strength score to be accepted.

Okay, so it looks like the temple GAVE me a hammer, and wasn't asking for one. God the grammar in
this game is so awful.
What do I do to progress the story? I feel like I've been everywhere and I haven't encountered a

As a note, if you missed a sex scene, don't worry, once you beat Astaroth, the final boss, all
sex scenes unlock anyway.

Alright, I finished the game the "good way" (i.e : Killing Eris). Is there another end if you
betray Aphrodite ?
