I was about to clean the interiors from dust when I mistakenly ripped a port from motherboard ;_;

the only game I've played for the last 6 months along with wipeout HD/fury
I'm wondering if soldering iron would fix it

One of the best "self" story driven games on the market.

I'm gonna buy PS4 perhaps later this year when No Man's Sky comes up but that would be pretty
much the only game I'd play so I'm not sure about that
>>3017904
I think I'm gonna ask in some PC services if they do repairs of these kinds of things or if they
are even able to fix this
otherwise I should be able to just switch the HDD and put it in another PS3, right?

I took that port from motherboard by pliers (because I didn't want to damage the cables) and
before I realized how stupid that decision was I ripped it off

sorry for your ps3, OP.

Cant switch HDDs, they are encoded to each PS3 via encryption keys between mobo/hdd.
If you cant fix the mobo, best bet would be looking towards the modding community to find a HDD
decryption program.

thanks for the advice, but if they won't be able to fix it I won't rape it any further and rather
start saving for PS4
it served me for more than 7 years and I have good memories of whole 10 games I played on it (2
of them being SotC and ICO in 3D which made it all worth it after all)

No, it isn't. I played it for the first time a few months ago, boring as fuck. The only reason
anyone thinks it's a good game is because the PS3 had no gaems,

I literally played it 3 times in a row when I first played it
and yes this game is not for everyone, most of the game is just a walking/floating simulator lol
