I can't imagine the pitch to executives as being anything other than terribly awkward. In my head
the way it went down was all the japanese guys in suits in the boardroom have their heads down
and they're all trying not to look each other in the eyes because they're all terribly
embarrassed to acknowledge the purpose of why everyone assembled into that room on that day.
One of the board execs sheepishly asks a question about the show only to immediately regret
hearing the explanation.
Another one kills himself later that night after ruminating on what he did that day.
