Guy in highschool meet a vampire.
Guy becomes a vampire too
Guy gets cured from vampire, but keeps a small part of his vampiric abilities, like health,
regeneration and sensing the supernatural.
With his new abilities of detecting the supernatural he goes about saving the girls of the town
from the supernatural shit thats messing with their life.
All the girls love him for it, but he's stuck with a girlfriend who has crabs.

yeah, confusing is one way to put it. its kinda heavy on the dialogue and have the Shaft "artsy"
style.
there are also confusing parts like how curing the guy turned the vampire (which was female) from
an adult to a little girl.
There is a lot of fan-service in this show so keep that in mind. has great OPs end EDs (each
story arc gets its own OP ED and there are many arcs)

Well in part the fan service is kinda part of the joke half the time. It's never used to just be
fan service, as the anime itself is very post-modern in its use of symbolism throughout the
series. Now I will say a lot of it is very fast paced, wordplay-esk dialog similar to scott
pilgrim vs the world.
(though the ending[after 3 seasons and prequel, not including the upcoming movie] was meh)
