The most I've been hearing regarding the possible origin of the track is within the area of work
that artists like Fat Jon, Nujabes, etc. did for Adult Swim bumps. One person who claims to have
heard it from there says it was from one of the Samurai Champloo bumps on Toonami. Would that be
around 2005 or was there another airing of the show?
I looked through the Champloo discography and didn't find it, I looked through related bumps and
didn't find it. Those are pretty much the only leads I have right now.
