Superman wrecked Metropolis, which included Bruce Wayne's company building. That, and some other
shit in the movie that I forgot about already.

I don't feel like watching the rest but this is dumber than the movie.
It's like he's trying too hard to find shit to complain about, when there's already plenty of

batmans intro? How that scene is done and batmans childhood is one of the things that sets the
entire pace for the rest of each comic series its shown in.
Thats the fucking point of comic movies that arent straight adaptions, to change shit and
reinvent the story. One of the best things about comics is retellings of heroes with all new
depth from a backlog of development from prior series.

one of the most aggravating things about superhero movies is how they have to pander and show the
origin story EVERY time they reboot a series for the umpteenth time
get ready to watch Spider-Man's origin AGAIN because Marvel's got the fucking rights back and
they're rebooting him so they can put him in Civil War
just like they had to reboot Hulk for the second time in the last 5 years
there's a legitimate point to that, my mother is completely braindead and even she knows what
Batman's origin story is

At least Batman's origin was really short. The parents died, and then we jump 30 years later, in
media res to an old batman that's already been doing the job for a while.
It was actually pretty cool seeing that. The police are (mostly) used to him and even help
sometimes. He's already got a bat plane. He already fought the Joker (and lost a Robin). He was
already batman, and the movie didn't waste anytime explaining how he got there.

lasts all of intro credit scene (usually just bruning flags and buildings shit) and then not even
5 minutes I'd say. Elements of dreamlike to batman and accentuates that hes actually fucking a
wierd guy. He had a dream that bats scared the shit out of him and lifted him up. so he dresses
as a bat. Establishing him as fucking nuts makes his conflict with superman more interesting
because he really has little to go on for blaming superman for anything, in the same way that
superman says he doesnt care offhandedly what people were saying about him to show that the sheer
power he has over earth means nothing to him.
both are fallible from quick intro scenes, both are reasonable in why they fight.
origin scene remains important in my opinion

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was that there was no clarification as to whether
batman was killing people or not, and if he was he should have made some justification.
