Yeah, controls and gameplay remind me of the parade of shitty platformers that came out in the
early/mid 90's in an attempt to capitalize on the success of the sonic franchise, like Bubsy /
Aero the Acrobat / Zool, etc.
This music is fresh as fuck, though.
