There aren't many instances where it comes down to pure chance. I'm not saying it didn't in your

Shit's fun as hell, and usually comes down to exclusively skill unless you've got a puzzle with a
rare situation where you just have to guess and hope you're right.

click empty stuff, then when numbers show up, it means that there's only that number of mines in
the surrounding panels. so a 5 means that in the 8 surrounding panels, there's 5 mines. a 1 means
that in the surrounding panels there's only one mine. The goal is to mark all the mines and clear
all the fields that aren't full of mines. I hadn't played minesweeper before but I managed to
clear a puzzle after 10 minutes of actually taking my time with it.
