If you are interested in the battle. It's the 1996 recovery of the capital city of Grozny in
Chechnya Russia by rebels. It was a victory towards the Chechens and thus ended a war that had
been going on with the Republic of Russia since 1994. It's a very piece of history. While the
Chechen rebels were short in number, they had modern day Russian equipment, such as up to date
artillery, fantastic communication lines via expensive commercial radios (That Russia left
behind), and being that the Chechens were Russian, it was easy to disguise themselves as
Republican soldiers in order to gain the upper hand. And the Chechens fought so well, that many
countries around have studied their use of modern day urban tactics and use them in training
their own military.
