all of us are holding hands
together
we must take appart
we don't look back
but look into our hearts
think of all the precious memories
I'll never forget you /f/
;_;

is /f/ actually being deleted or is it just typical scaremongering?
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)16:28:58 No.3157138
>>3157136
Scaremongering as far as I can tell. I don't think /f/ uses a lot of bandwidth anyway.

Hiro is taking a personal vendetta for Hiroshima so he's nuking boards

Hiro is whining about MUH BANDWIDTH and people are quick to blame any board with more than a 2MB
limit.

There is a threat but I think we'll make it for a while longer. People are panicking way too
much. Nice to see the community of /f/ tho.

How do we know /f/ is being deleted? I didn't see anything about it...

Hiroyuki Nishimura, he's the guy who replaced Moot as the owner

It could be a reality
Every normalfag loves porn
Every degenerate loves porn
Who cares if there are vagilions of sites for it, 4chan getting the porn deleted would be a big
deal.
It would either make every board nsfw no matter the rules or people would just up and leave.
Sounds like a good deal to me, but we all know Hiro needs more shekels, not less populated boards
and by extension less income. It's why he made those donation clovers next to the name field.
The guy seems more and more fishy with every action he takes, remember how he removed Yotsuba
from 404 page? Now we have her back but we also have some youtube shit in there for no apparent
reason.

not all porn boards should be deleted
people suggest to merge some boards but that would just merge the traffic of those boards as well
I presume
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:21:12 No.3157199
All he needs to do is get rid of the on-site archive.
It was a stupid idea in the first place and probably more than doubles the shit he has to host.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:22:53 No.3157201
>>3157195
Yeah, I could see things like /d/ or /aco/ or even /h/ staying, but all that 3dpd should go.
Also some people suggested killing or cutting down the archives, 24 hours is absolutely enough
for all my threads.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:22:58 No.3157202
>>3157195
Yeah but there's probably a large amount of cross-boarders. It's not straight addition of traffic.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:28:15 No.3157212
>>3157199
Sounds like the problem is bandwidth, not storage. That said, yeah, archives would not be a big
loss.

This kind of reminded me of the changing climate; did you know the latest climate data says
within 100 years 75 - 98% of the human population are projected to be dead and nothing will be
done to stop this.
>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:32:29 No.3157221
This whole "/f/ is gonna be closed down because Hiro is a jew" shit is probably nothing. /f/ has
a minimum of 30 and probably a maximum of 40 flashes on the board and each of them can be up to
10mb. 300mb-400mb is nothing compared to big porn boards like /s/ and /gif/. And when it does
come down to axing boards you can beat /f/ would be a second thought when you compare it to niche
boards like /po/.

Some flashes will to stay in a limbo period where they aren't on the board and they haven't been
404'd. Unless I'm wrong as fuck which I could be.

Might just be cached by the ISP. I'm going to leave /f/ open and see if I can still open them
after the threads are gone for hours. Interesting to find out the results.

>> [_] Anonymous 10/02/16(Sun)17:43:04 No.3157240
been here since 2004 or something, /f/ was my first gate to the unknown of the internet, there
was no FB or YT or anything like that, torrents barely worked and you gambled for porn, desus or
hoods over here, or find some really fun flash game and waste hours on it, it was like exploring
a cave of treasures and find something new everyday.
I dont think /f/ will be at all but this will always be my favorite board.
