Yeah the franchise is a mess and probably the most horribly scrambled victim of Nomura's TokyoJO.
Even so, The first game, and MAYBE the second as a guilty pleasure, are fucking great. At least
for scrubs like us. Or at least me. Can't talk for you regarding KH2.

I always wondered if kingdom hearts franchise would look less of a mashup mess if there weren't
any disney characters in it, just the story. Then again, that was kinda the point of it all.
