Is the score of this animation similar to the music in the flash?
>> [_] Anonymous 09/12/16(Mon)15:13:09 No.3147324
>>3147284
based on the music alone, I can imagine this scenario
it goes something like this, a support character, that is a woman, dies in the hands of the
protagonist and at the bring of death she gives this heart touching speech and as she's finishing
the speech the camera pans towards the sky... no... it zooms in her mouth saying the last word...
and then the camera frantically pans up with the protagonist screaming, you know the scream, you
must have heard it a million times, yes, that scream, then he sobs and probably asks why her
how close am I?

Nope. No scream at all. Just tears and death. She's been dead for some time now as she got
twisted and her neck broken along with her arms and legs. Wringed out like a washcloth.

There are a lot of anime where the LN is significantly better and I can guarantee re:zero is not
one of them.

>>3147322
yes, very much so. the animation quality and the use of music are exemplary. you can sometimes
even feel the weight of certain moments because of how well it is made and mixed.
>>3147324
nobody else but you might wanna read this due to spoilers, but *ahem* spoilers.
the girl tries to save the boy she loves and gets killed while at it. her every limb gets twisted
out of proportions and her neck breaks (invisible dark hands amirite). they get left alone, she
crawls towards the main guy and dies then and there. roll the music, softly at first.
guy breaks mentally and out of his bounds, goes to the plot relevant mansion and sees everyone he
holds dear slaughtered as the blizzard begins. that creature rises from the mansion, slices the
main guy's head off (happens right after that snapshot in the flash) and roll the dramaticly
intensified part of the music.

gotta admit though, the anime has become slightly less enjoyable now that it's well over 20
episodes. it began as a self ironic arsenal of cliches that then started building characters.
while it still isn't shit, you'll be hating the main character during his development, and it
will lead to... well.
go watch it. you'll see.

what I've gathered from the synopsis is that everytime he dies he starts again from the point he
was brought into it, something like Source Code or Edge of tomorrow
now it sounds good but I'm afraid it has the stereotypical archetypes for supporting characters
because the synopsis said he gets saved by a white hair girl in a deus ex machina style I presume.
I hate cliche filled movies and shows. I mean I couldn't even get past 10 minutes of the A-Team
movie from 2010 when they were introducing the characters. I tried two times with no avail.

>>3147424
yes, i completely agree that it sounds like a clichebomb of mediocre.
how about a series that takes those cliches and plays with them intentionally? give it a try, the
first episode pretty much sums up what i'm implying here.

the fucking pacing is killing me
I finished the first half of the first ep
the characters are dumb as a fucking brick, their behavior is utmost illogical, the pacing is
painfully slow and the two girls look like they're straight from some harem shit and the cover
picture, where he stands around the lying girls, doesn't help to convince me otherwise
for me it's shit

Don't get too attached to the girls one of them literally disappears after the first arc and
you'll soon forget about the other.

his start points are progressive, but not defined why exactly (could be just to progress story)
not really deus ex machina style
it seems like a right place right time, but given his existence in the new world is tied to the
antagonist, it's also likely that meeting the girl wasn't coincidence
and she barely helps him in comparison to other trauma he's received
it seems every archetype in the show is later distorted in some way, I've gotten numb to anime
aesthetic for the most part (don't like it just accept it), but a show like this hinges on the
reveal and who knows when that will be

>but not defined why exactly
Well not in the anime. first of his power isn't his, second he dosen't control it in any way,
third there is a entity that always watches him and moves the restart point as it deems
necessary(sometimes with bad intent to purposely harm the hero)
>> [_] Anonymous 09/12/16(Mon)21:08:59 No.3147472

yeah, that's what I was figuring: an idea of false progress
