I don't think I personally lost it until three-quarters into episode 12. Then the dam broke with
a force so strong it probably caused the 2013 tsunami in Japan, as if I was subconsciously trying
to drown the writers who wrote it as well as their families.

Consider this. Natsu witnessed her performance end really well, witnessed nothing bad happen to
her, and later hears this seemingly mentally disturbed 14 year old tell them both that people
literally threw rocks at her, called her names, chased her out, etc. That she doesn't want to
pursue her dreams anymore because of how hostile it is. And in his infinite wisdom -- instead of
telling her that didn't happen, he records her talk about giving up on her dreams, unable to
contain his joy, and then tells her it's okay to just not think about it anymore, and just stay
with him.
It's sad. And pretty sick when you consider the mental role he's supposed to have in her life.
Imagine if Natsu were a boyfriend, using a poor girl's mental issues to keep her in his life,
away from anything he deems a 'problem'. It's really, really depressing. Why go into the city
when you can just order all the stuff you want online! Stay with me me me!
