Nothing new really.
Some years ago Moot Decided to "clean up" /f/ He put in a ton of new rules including post timers,
captchas, limited uploads and more.
After all was said and done the people who posted "quality" content or at least original content
couldn't compete with the trolls and spam. So they all kinda left.
It's really kind of ass now which is unfortunate, considering it used to be the closest community
on 4chan.
But hey, Moot got rid of Zeitgeist. Which was what he was trying to clean up. I just wish he
didn't get rid of everyone else at the same time.

Well, what could you do? Filtering zeitgeist in the filename doesn't work. Filtering specific
flashes doesn't work because savvy people will simply make tiny edits and upload essentially the
same flash.
I don't really think he had any other options.

Well we could have done what we had always done.
We ignored them. We posted content that pushed them off the page.
Really it didn't bother us that much.
The real killer was the limited posts because that meant we could no longer post enough content
to beat out the shit.
