  The story they're making fun of wast the McDonalds lawsuit hot coffee masacre which many of you
  might know about through the show on TRUTV known as Adam Ruins Everything, or before that on
  college humor. They're poking fun at the fact an old lady sued the company for pouring hot coffee
  on her self, sued, and won. However it's completely skewed.

  You can't actually make water much hotter than 100 degrees celsius without the tiniest impurity
  causing it to start boiling and losing energy through converting liquid to gas.
  Alternatively the ambient temperature was close to boiling but at that point you have other
  problems and the coffee still wouldn't stay in the container.

  Mcdonalds coffee comes in thick plastic cups with a layer of styrofoam to keep it as hot as
