My craptop is so fucked that I can't even recharge it anymore, and I had my whole flash
collection on there. Since I didn't have enough time to move it to a backup device, I used the
last of my battery power to screenshot the filenames of all the flashes I had organized in
different folders.
Since I only managed to save the filenames, I now have to sift through swfchan and find them one
by one to restore my collection.
Kill me.

just pull the HDD and attach it as an external drive on a working machine. Not rocket science,

I feel your pain though, I have HDDs that have shit the bed, and are unrecoverable. SO much gold
on them, I can't toss 'em "just in case"....

Don't be autistic OP. Pop out the battery, look for its model number and search for it on Ebay or
Amazon. If not, get a screwdriver and take it apart. Pop out the hard drive and save it for when
you get another laptop / HDD docking station.
