encodes. hardly any new content is streaming in because swf is an obsolete file type in favor of
webm/html5/webgl. the low file size limit and lack of features the other boards have doesn't help
either.

about it. this won't change if other formats are allowed, but at least now everything else can be
included and at higher quality as well.

that they are both aging technologies/products. the reason why /vr/ diverged from /v/ is because

I like /f/ because you still see the same shit after years. It's familiar no matter when you
browse, feels like home. Sometimes there's new shit to laugh at, new jokes are made, but at the
end of the day there are a handful of in-jokes you can laugh about, a little bit of [H] to fap
to, and some pleasant music for any number of tastes to enjoy.
I also really like the layout and format. The board has a lot of room to creatively name/tag your
files. To some, a big pile of shitposts and injokes might sound disgusting, but to others like me
