Why is this lolrandumb so much better than what's produced now, this entire flash feels like

I remember sending this to a friend on MSN when this came out.
One of the rare times I came across something as it was posted and actually had some fucking
effort put in to it.
Since unlike what some people with nostalgia goggles think, a considerable amount of old content
was still just as shit as content today has been. There's just more content overall with a bias
towards shittier content, but still about the same amounts of good content.
Same shit applies to Anime.
All these faggots crying that "anime is dead! DEAD!" over and over. That's been happening since
the 80s. Just google newsgroups of people bitching about it.
Anime is perfectly healthy as an industry. There's just more of a bias towards making anime
pandering to some fetish or fan-service or moe-junk. It is easy money.
Very few make quality work. It is too easy to make QUALITY work instead. Like DB Super. No, not
the fake QUALITY in-between frames, the everything else wrong with it. The utter lack of detail.
It's a lesser Naruto now.
Likewise TV, music and games.

Hell, if anything these days more niche content is getting created because the industry in
question is larger overall.
This is so true in the case of music, more than any industry.
Holy SHIT there are so many genres, sub-genres, mixed genres and so on. Even full-on meme genres.
Videogames coming up closely behind with loads more with a resurgence in independent developers
bringing out some pretty great games. (besides the usual shitey early access abusers you hear
about, there is about 2 more good games actively being worked on)
TV and film is also going places, more so with the creation of online video streaming. You just
have to get by all the shitty youtube channels and MMD porn to find it.
Then there is even recent-ish anime that has been funded entirely and in-part by fan-communities.
Little Witch Academia being a great example of something amazing happening.
I would love to see more things like this happen. The community is absolutely there for
independent anime.
