Because white women are objectively more attractive.
I joke about it being objectively more attractive of course since beauty is in the eye of the

There is actually a kind of historic reason specific to the japanese market:
Light skin is considered beautiful, especially for girls as it stands for purity, innocence, etc.
At the same time darker skin was/is associated with the lower working class in japan who had/have a
much lower social status.
So in porn it was originally done to imply that 'you', no matter what kind of a 'low-life' you are,
can have sex with a beautiful girl.
Over the years this mixed with the japanese curiosity for foreigners in general and the western
concept of interracial porn.
Sometimes it is also done simply for the sake of contrast (both in color for artistic reasons and
again for the contrast in social status)
