The board is supposed to generate after your first click so you can't instantly die and so it can
give you an opening that is physically possible.

Japs don't know how to make ANY games, discounting unicorns like Nintendo.
Japs are in a tier of their own when it comes to gameplay that is frustrating for bad reasons,
even the worst western developers are still better at game design than most japanese developers.
A Japanese game typically contains one of the following:
>having to go through all the easy levels again because you lost on a hard level
>massive grinding
>cases that are unquestionably unfair (in this game for example, even perfect logic won't tell
you where the mine is in some cases)
If Japanese game developers never existed, they wouldn't have had the bad influence they've had
on some western developers with their 99% garbage games.

the numbers tell you how many tiles with mines are next to it (also diagonally)
...that's all there is to it.
