I don't think that's what people were voting on. Enough people find them funny that they're able
to make money.

Uh, that's pretty much how television works. Comedy or otherwise, there's no show that is loved
by everyone. You just need a big enough audience to make money. For everyone one person who's a
fan of something there's two people who hate it and seven who don't know or care it exists.
