Well, the guy does have a point. Those women should focus on supporting actual female drivers
rather than bullshitting some video game no one ever heard about

Men are actually better than women at volleyball.
The sport is big at West Coast schools like USC & Cal and their teams are filled with giants who
are all 6'7+ that would absolutely crush the women's teams if they were allowed to play against
each other.

The idea is, should you be true to life, or should you be progressive and inclusive of
propositions that don't actually happen in the real world (yet or ever)?
It's easy to say "There are no women F1 racers. Why include them in a game?" But you can extend
that logic to plenty of careers where women are similarly rare: fire fighter, soldier, head of
state, protagonist who holds big sword. Should we similarly say "well, there aren't many women
fire fighters, so why include women fire fighters in our fire fighting game?" Or "well, there
aren't many women soldiers, so why include them in our game?" Some will argue yes. Others will
argue no.
Let's suppose that there were a game about being a hospital nurse. You go around, giving IVs to
patients and making them take the correct pills in VR or something. However, since the vast
majority of nurses are female, you are only allowed to play as a female nurse. You can even look
down at yourself and see your nurse uniform and boobs. It's a simulation game. But then a
well-known pro-men site like menzebel.com writes an opinion piece about how the game doesn't
represent the male nurses in this country. Then the game dev responds by saying, "well, it would
take a LOT of developer resources to model the male body, the male gait, to do body capture for a
male. We just couldn't afford it!"
