I tried multiple times to upload a 7mb flash, but recaptcha keeps expiring before it is uploaded,
giving me an error, even if I validate the captcha again while it is loading, 4chan gives me an
error telling me that I have misspelled the captcha.
Why is this happening? Is it because my upload speed is too slow? I have an ADSL connection with
1mb/s of download and around 100kb/s of upload.

yeah your upload speed is too slow. i guess 4chan only checks recaptcha AFTER they have received
the file, which is the wrong way to do it

So there would be no way around it apart from reducing the size of the swf? I can upload a 5mb
swf just fine, so I guess recaptchas expire after 1 minute.

This is a known issue.
You could try submitting to the feedback page and asking more people to do the same.
Another solution would be to buy a pass, but you probably don't want to.

maybe there's a way... if you log into your most active google account they will allow you more
time before your captcha expires. maybe. sometimes you dont even have to enter a captcha, just
click the checkbox.

Have you tried submitting the captcha for the first time after a significant portion o the upload
is done?

Yes, I tried that too with no luck, but I already got the swf smaller and uploaded it with
success.
