Yeah, Caliborn was the best part of Act 6. But fuck the Trickster stuff, fuck all of the
relationship drama, fuck the dreambubbles with the 12 extra trolls, and fuck Andrew Hussie. It's

Homestuck had a pretty regular following and a lot of appreciation back before act 5. I knew a
few people who were following it back then, and everyone loved it like you'd love a good
webcomic. Acts 1-4 are a fun, funny read made by a creative and dedicated guy who already had a
few good titles under his belt. Homestuck was just an every day good webcomic, kind of like
paranatural or what have you.
It wasn't until Act 5 hit that homestuck went from established to huge and gained an insane
following of rabid fans who's lives revolved around it. And my friends who were reading homestuck
with me back in the day agree that this was what made hussie turn away from writing in whatever
original direction he was going in and turning it into this ridiculous fan pandering mess. I
can't say when exactly homestuck started to suck. It was good going into act 5 and terrible by
act 6, so somewhere in act 5 part 2 he just sort of seemed to say "fuck it."
I'm still pretty sad about it, that homestuck started to suck after a while. It'd be sort of like
if paranatural suddenly gained a massive following and zach gorman stopped writing his story and
instead just pandered to fans.
I'm not sure if anyone on /f/ cares about any of this though lol
