I always liked this flash. Something about the way the world seems to be dissolving into that
void always made it seem like the world had ended, and these little kids were sitting on the
refugee chunk that was speeding away into some new unknown. They're not fully alone; there's
others farther back from that lonely edge.
No adults though, only children. Orphans of a world that they left behind. They're not homesick
or scared, there's too much adventure, too much 'real' world ahead of them to dwell on what used
to be far behind in those rolling waves where the familiar world used to be. They'll be okay out
there in that rainbow place trailed by void. After all, they're kids, they never saw enough of
the world to really, truly understand it. They've all got the room to grow into something new,
something fantastic.
