Just watched episode 22, the series is looking a lot better now. Nice to see that they must have
gotten more money, the 3D almost didn't bother me this episode! There's more drawn stuff mixed in
too.
Still think it's strange that Berserk got stuck with still 3D when even the most uncommon anime
series can affort beautiful drawn anime, though I have a new theory. Perhaps they got one big
chunk of money but were unsure whether they would get more or not. So they decided to do things
as cheap as possible to guarantee that they could finish what they set their goal on finishing
even if they didn't get more money. But now they are getting more money and are more confident in
slowly increasing quality? In 22 more episodes maybe it'll be on par with most other shows. If
things go especially well they can always redo the early episodes later on, should be especially
trivial since they have the basic 3D animations already.
