My keyboard not being able to record more than 3 keystrokes at a time isn't helping.

Well made game, but I frickin hate when they screw with your wasd, man.
It's like making you try to play guitar with your feet.

Nice game. Relaxing music. I just played it for the music.

It does, but you don't get a 'first' jump if you're already in the air. The problem is that
letting go of walls and going in a direction share a button, so unless you do it just right, you
let go of the wall instead of jumping off, so you're 'in the air', and you only get one jump.
If they relegated 'just letting go of walls' to X once you got the double jump, it'd be much
easier to control.
>> [_] Anonymous 05/28/17(Sun)12:03:36 No.3248827
that was a good test of my platformer mechanics.
for those stuck at the wall, try to get as high up as possible. your first jump is for horizontal
distance, your second jump is for vertical distance.
keep that in mind and you'll develop the muscle memory to get through.

I can't believe you guys have problems with the walljump/doublejump thing. I'm not even a big fan
of platformers and this was easy, lemme explain it to you:
Wallhanging doesn't require you to hold onto left/right like in Megaman, for example. the
character latches onto the wall until you either press the arrow key opposite of which side she's
grabbing, or you press the jump key (X or S).
TO DOUBLE JUMP FROM A WALLJUMP, YOU NEED TO DISENGAGE FROM THE WALL USING A JUMP. THIS MEANS THAT
IF YOU PRESSED AN ARROW KEY TO GET HER TO STOP GRABBING THE WALL, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO
DOUBLE JUMP, YOU NEED TO J U M P OFF THE WALL FOR THE DOUBLEJUMP. That's it. Fucking scrubs, I
swear.

Well, I'm just an uncoordinated fuck.
Still though, pretty fun game OP. Have you posted it anywhere else that won't get deleted in 24
hours? A la Kongregate or Newgrounds? I suppose that it would be on the swf archive, but just
asking though.
Nice Job OP.

I was expecting something past where it ending, but it makes sense as a stopping point.

Probably easier to code.

I actually did the whole wall segment by only single jumping in midair. Didn't think to use my
first jump to get off the wall.

it literally takes just two numbers to change in keycode
