Dear God, why?

it's not all bad for me anymore
I just got hired on to a new job and it's remote so I work at home (or wherever I want to make
home). Tomorrow when I go in to work, I get to quit.
Remember to socialize a little bit with your peers, anons, you never know who is going to need to
hire someone. Being the right man in the right place makes all the difference.
Time for me to move into the middle of nowhere and buy lots of guns.

What industry do you work in? That sounds pretty much like my dream job. Currently wagecucking at
a large engineering firm and I hate every day of it.

I am now a game dev, what I've always wanted to be. There's a lot of general programming jobs
like this too.

I'm in the middle of a two week vacation.
I fear the day I have to return to work.

How'd you get into that industry?

The short answer is I got lucky and was in the right place at the right time.
The long answer is I spent 7 years working hard, sharpening my skills, getting to know people
(and getting people to know me) and spending 3 years and $30,000 on a trade school I almost
regret paying for and stretching myself as far as I can without watering myself down so when the
right time comes along I'll surely be in the right place.
I got off social security for this and now I'm a JUNIOR DEVELOPER!
