I updated the flash, and fixed a few things to make it more bearable to watch. lol
Fixes:
Fixed audio quality drop(thanks anon)
Fixed so audio loops properly
Fixed grammar where I could find it
I also relocated the text to a more appealing spot, and added quotations.
I added the clock.
I re-wrote the text as a png to lower the size of the flash.
As of now, there should be 10 different quotes in the flash.
If you notice any bugs/grammatical errors, let me know, and if there's anything you'd like to see
changed/added, I'm open to suggestions.
In particular, I'm thinking of replacing the background with some kind of spinning planet
animation.
Anyway, I'll post an updated version tomorrow. Enjoy! :)

It was actually much higher. Since this is more or less my first flash, I don't know what the
norm' would be, but I'll look into lowering the file size further. Not really sure what's causing
it to be so big, if that's abnormal.

Does that picture alone take 3.88MB as my decompiler says it takes?
You should see how much it really takes if you click on that png in the library and see it's
properties. There's a line on the bottom and take a look at the number right next to "compressed"

Let me brake down this swf for you in terms of pictures.
There's the main bg picture, and then there's all the texts separately.
Each text is around100kb. I made them in photoshop to try and get better quality. As >>3246219
says, however, I do think they need redone. but in terms of file size, 100kb isn't terrible, but
I've I'm going to have 30+ in the final version, I'll need to find a way to reduce the file size.
Then, there's the bg image, which my pc says uses 1.3MB, Though when in flash, it's seems to have
increased. I'll try to compress the file, as that seems to be the biggest source of the file size.
Also, the bgm says it's taking up a large 56MB, which I guess since I compressed it, it made it
smaller.
When I'm in Flash later, I'll look into that. Thanks again friend. :)

You do know you can write text in flash, right?
100kb is WAY too much for a single line of text. Stop doing that.
Convert the pic to jpg and resize it, it shouldn't be that big.
How long is the bgm? Convert to mp3 and cut if it's 30 minutes long or something like that. 56MB
uncompressed is insane.

Heh, oh man. I feel from the way you're telling me, I'm definitely not doing things as
effectively as I could be. It's to be expected though I guess, since I'm leaping into this
without experience.
The text was done in photoshop to try and give a better look, as I figured I could do more with
it in photoshop than I could in Flash. I didn't even give flash a chance really, so I'll give
that a go.
The pic's already a jpeg, though it's 1920x1080, sp perhaps if I shrunk the dimensions, then
expanded it in flash that would help?
Lastly, I don't even know what I can do to the bgm. It's one full loop of the song, so I can't
really truncate it. I don't really have a solution for that.

Good stuff man, reminds me of my own project last year.
Audio loops is easy to make, but hard to perfect. I personally reccomend the looping function in
audacity, but you could always make a script to lower the volume of your bgm in the last few
seconds while crossfading to the start again.
If that paragraph sounds interesting, I'd reccomend you looking into the soundchannel class
If you want to reduce the filesize for the text, try experimenting with the text properties, if
done correctly you can make it look pretty good.
And it's pretty easy to change the text at will too. you can create a function which will pick a
new quote from an array.
