Badass ribs for the Texans of /f/
Prepare barbeque smoker with hickory or pecan wood.
If you use briquets and woodchips, soak the chips in water.
Rub ribs with dry rub and let set for one hour before starting to smoke.
Smoke ribs slowly over indirect heat, 250 to 275 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
(Feel free to be experimental for your personal smoker)
Wrap ribs in foil, cover meat generously with brown sugar and honey.
Cook meat till rib bone twists and pulls freely out, about 2 1/2 to 3 more hours.

soaked wood chips (mesqite for pro-level) in it, rest it in the middle of your briquets (whole
wood charcoal for ultra-pro), and enjoy perfectly flavored bbq.

It's certainly not the ideal performance machine but I think it's the best option for what I do.
I've been spending all day cutting stems to use and it's been a lot of fun.

There's NO frontpage, search, or anything like that, but if you use google, you can get under the
hood following links, and all the users often reference other users, so you can find their URLS
that way. MUCH vocal goodness there, lots of crazy stuff. Audioboo is another resource, if it's

Yeah there is a lot more than BBQ, but we do have badass BBQ. Tons of mexican food depending on
where you live.
Also I can't vouch for Austin but I have always thought if it as a trash hole.
San Antonio is cooler if your visiting.
Coolest part is you can dive 8 hours and still be in Texas.
