[_] OC flash with new set of loopings dedo !drZ3h7esek 04/12/17(Wed)12:43:16 No.3233817
I picked milder songs for this one and this time around I made the shadow drop so hopefully the
text is more visible now
Copypasta from previous thread:
So I've been busy these past few days with making a collection of seamless audio loops and I've
made over 100 of them, so without further ado I proudly present to you DEDOS - dedo's enormous
database of songloops.
https://mega.nz/#F!LRwX0LqS!iR7xxBqTZwmYLOFzleq_HQ
Most of these songs are ~1 minute long but there are also a few which are only 15 seconds long.
The 2 at the end of the filename means it's form the same song but it's a different part.
Also I made it that everytime you open it a random song starts to play, well, random as adobe
flash cs6 can be (which is not that random)
Well anyway I hope you enjoy this little sample.
Marked for deletion (old).

>text still horrible rust
drop shadow isn't your cure, though it's a great touch.
Pick a color that contrasts nicely with the hue of each panel. Much easier on the eyes, makes
tastier flash.
Google a few primers on color theory.
Great loops though.
Love the Paprika reference.
Also, had an Odessy2 when I was a kid.
Good times.

Yeah you're right, I should start following the Newton's disc but I don't know how to deal with
the text roughness right now, though

Damn, can't bring up berserk songs on a whim. Goosebumps for that track. Nice pairing putting
guts with guts (gatsu).

I complained about the text color on the last version and you still didn't fix it. Get rid of the
yellow-brown shit color dude. Just make it black or white with an outline/stroke. No shadow.

In order to make the text go visible/invisible I need to break it appart which discards all the
filters I had and when I try to convert it to bitmap image I can't change the alpha.
It's really a pain in the ass at the moment

it's such a shame you're wasting your music loops like this. add some random neat gif animation
that half-fits and release them as separate flashes. if you dont have any just make a thread on
the worksafe gif board, just ask for random loops and dancing gifs

>>3233885
Yeah that's the case, I made the first loopings because I didn't have the proper gifs and
eventually I ended up doing more audio loops
I mean I'm not gonna put all of them in these looping flashes but you all are free to do whatever
you want with the audio loops
the link is right there as it is under the flash

move your MovieClips with filters into a single container MovieClip. set the container to use
Layer as blending. now only change alpha values on the container

it's just that still image flashes triggers me, though this is at least not just 1 still + 1
music. i understand why you're doing this, creating 100 swfs for your loops would take a lot of
time and effort. but it would be better. not telling you to actually do it, just that its a shame
to waste such loops on still images that doesn't add much. it aint [L], it's just music

a movieclip inside a movieclip?
you need to give me an example or a tutorial on youtube m8, I'm pretty daft

just because it's in this flash doesn't mean it cannot be used again
I'm using this as a showcase for anons so they'll hopefully make a loop of their own or how they
see fit

>>3233892
sorry just from memory, don't have a tutorial. basically you create a new movieclip (call it
container) and then you lay out the text inside of that movieclip. you can add or convert
movieclips there with their own filters.
then you return to the main timeline and drag the container to the scene. select it and change
display blending to layer, then use your actionscript to fade it in and out upon hover. im
assuming you're using actionscript for that? could just be a button or something i suppose
anyway the point of "Layer" blending is so that if you have 2 movieclips inside a container
movieclip and you set for example alpha 50% on the container, then the sub movieclips wont
individually have 50% alpha but would rather render correctly layered first and THEN become alpha
50% as a group.

yeah I've accumulated most of the songs from 2011 to this date and all of them are some sort of
EDM
well maybe except for one

I see it as a free library of songs that are already premade so people can easily grab them and
use them
Also many people come here to discover new music so it can work like that as well
And thank you, I'll give that a shot but not now because it's getting awfully late here so I'll
probably be going to bed
Good night, /f/

Not true, this just might be up someone's tree.
Also, all this talk of containers... yes, you can do it that way... also be aware that text
labels themselves can have filters applied just like the graphics and movie clips that can
contain them.
Skip the middleman if you don't need him.
You'd only use the container methodology if you want one filter easily applied to several
(generally unrelated) objects at the same time.
