Why do people keep spamming flash conversions of shitty, overedited AMVs?
>> [_] Anonymous 04/23/17(Sun)23:13:10 No.3237392
Well, that was shit.

quality so low you can taste the pixels

So I guess kids are really into softcore porn these days? The video editing and choice of music
gives it away. They probably think it's not really porn too.

this is so fucking awful

Because the faggot that runs swfchan also gives away a lamer tool to wrap videos in swf with THE
WRONG CODEC in order to pack maximum bullshit into the 10MB limit.
Of course, content AND delivery suffer severely.

>he's probably saying a poor-quality encoder
No, in fact, I mean exactly that- the WRONG CODEC.
Go check out SwfH264 tool (cripes, don't actually USE it)-
you will find out that the tool is a .swf container hack, and what it does is cram a H264
-encoded video into the container, something that is an abomination and not very.... sane.
If you actually use Flash (or that Animate crap they push now) you will notice the only video you
can import into your project is FLV.
Adobe media encoder can pump out a ton of encodings, but for Flash video, there is only FLV and
F4V, and only FLV can be imported by Adobe's design. The only proper way to display H264-encoded
video is to stream it in from an external source, not embedding it in the SWF container.
Not sure why (and not much caring), but something about this hack creates some kind of wonky
voodoo with bitrates, which on a vast number of systems causes datamoshed output. On the many
machines I've seen this on, half of these work just fine, and the rest are unviewable, different
flashes on different machines. This is a terrible, non-uniform hack.
Please, for the love of Flash, DON'T POISON US WITH THE GARBAGE IT AND YOU MAKE!

Is this that shitty 60fps 'converter'?

Someone do an edit where each time it seems like it's going to go somewhere exciting, it gets
more and more distorted and warped. I think it would be hilarious.
