It's a bit of an gross oversimplification but what #4 suggests is good advice. If you exercise
regularly you'll, at the very least, improve your health and physique. That in turn might improve
your mood and outlook on life which could lead to increased motivation and quality of life and
shit.

Honestly the key to being happy is not thinking.
You will never be happy.

>Fit friend tells you that you should work out.
>You interpret this as "Lol bro just lift weights and get pussy and a rad car."
>You don't lift weights.
>Your body doesn't release endorphins and dopemine while simultaneously becoming healthy.
>Fucking Chad, I bet he doesn't even know how sad I am. :^(
I know depression isn't something you decide to have, and how some people's brain chemistry
dictates that they'll be sad or kind of messed up at periods of time, but working out is
genuinely good advice.

facing your problems in general is good for depression

Yeah, but it's difficult given the lack of the reward chemical. Eliminating your life problems
definitely helps you feel better though.

You don't need to go to a gym to do pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and a lot of other things.

>Honestly the key to being happy is not thinking.
This. Intellectualism, and just overthinking things in general is the road to misery. Stupid
people tend to be the happiest people.

>Your body doesn't release serotonin and dopamine while simultaneously becoming healthy and
activate your almonds.
This.
Your body will release neuro transmitters that will give you a feeling of satisfaction and the
dopamine also makes you vigilant.
If you have a real depression you will need of course also medication, but you have still exhaust
your body or else you will never feeling good.
There is nothing more, the body is a machine and if the brain metabolism does not work correctly
you will not get happy.

There are ways to break your ass that don't involve a gym and things to lift everywhere around
you. If you can't pick up a chair and rep with it casually, your respective lift weights probably
aren't high enough to justify a membership anyway.
>>3243816
Intellectualism is just knowing how shit everything is. It's not a road to misery when you
realize it's so shit for everyone else and your life is actually pretty good because you have
time to intellectualize.
