I've been using this shithole for years now and suddenly whenever I try to open flashes it
automatically saves to desktop. I can't figure out what the fuck is wrong and was wondering if
anyone else has ever had this problem.

Sounds like a browser problem
Did you change your temp/cache folder?
It seems like it's saving temporary files to your desktop

I believe anon is right... had the same issue years ago and i deleted my cache and reset my
browser to default settings.

If your on chrome go to chrome://plugins/
and check off always on for flash.
