reading the manga in it's initial run first, the anime voices were so weird to me compared to
what I had thought up in my head, even more jarring in the english dub as I'd grown up with
digimon which shared some VA.
I didn't like the anime.

Hey mate, I am not drawing conclusions for a whole genre. There are good harems shows and good
moe shows, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is bad. Though this, Yamato and
Watamote was the only animes so bad I couldn't bear to watch more than a few episodes, and I
can't even find a single positive thing about them, so I really don't understand the hype around
them.

Oh man, bringing back the old memories. I stole some kids backpack back in middle school that had
like 6 of the volumes of the manga for this shit. Still got them laying around to this day. I
remember back then I thought I could just pawn them off on some loser, but then I made the
mistake of reading them. This shit's probably what got me to actively go out of my way to watch
anime that wasn't on Toonami or Adult Swim. My only regret is not robbing the kid, who I stole
the backpack from, and stealing the other volumes he probably had laying around. He only had
volumes 4,7,8,10,12, and 14 in the bag.
