Earlier today, I was cycling on the main road (no bike lane, lack of sidewalk), and a car nearly
ran me over when it ran a stop sign. Thankfully, I saw it coming and my brakes don't suck. The
guy driving the car nearly got t-boned as well, since he didn't look for oncoming traffic in
either direction, apparently.
This is not quite the same as that cyclist being an asshat and expecting everybody to stop for
him. Shit just doesn't work like that.

My ex lived on a winding hillside street where bikers would go 20 mph the opposite way down the
road where there was very little to no lead time in terms of spotting an oncoming car or bike.
If you knew about this, you'd drive 15 mph under the speed limit because you didn't want to kill
an egotistical retarded biker challenging every car in his way.
Well, if you didn't live in the area, you didn't know this, and it was all "you're a terrorist"
from the bikers until 2 people were killed on impact when they biked into an oncoming car going
the speed limit.
Who'd have thought it'd end up like that. Basically impossible to guess, really.
